“Jacqui is an inspiring creative leader who combines vision with the skill to build strong connections within a team. On the projects where we worked together, I valued her as a brilliant partner with a refined creative sense. Through her proactive initiatives, like inviting external partners to share their work, she gave the wider team fresh perspectives and connections. She brings inspiration, eloquence, and a sharp sense of creative direction to everything she touches, balancing bold creative leadership with a deeply human approach. She was also a thoughtful and empathetic leader to the team members from my side who collaborated with her, making sure they felt comfortable, empowered, and supported. Beyond the projects, I always enjoyed our ongoing conversations over time, which brought valuable perspective and made working with her a real joy.”
Dennis-Kyōsuke Ginsig, On. Head of Creative Studio APAC
“Jacqui is one of the best hires I made while serving as Group Creative Director at AKQA.
I have always made the argument for multidisciplinary talent in creative departments.
I see the efficiency and invention. I see the entrepreneurialism and excitement of output. Jacqui is an outstanding example of this style of talent. During my time at AKQA I watched Jacqui turn her hand to high-stakes art direction for global brands, photographing some of the world’s most recognisable faces and evolving the design of the AKQA brand — requiring negotiation with one of the most discerning clients there is. Jacqui has a strong work ethic, a solid understanding of culture and the timeliness of ideas. She is regularly sought after by her colleagues for her high standards and attention to detail. Culturally a brilliant addition to the team with a lot of other creative talents she will be too humble to mention. I would make no hesitation to rehire or work with Jacqui again in the future. In fact, I will try quite hard to make that happen.”
Ian Wharton, Chief Experience Officer at Superunion, [Previously GCD at AKQA]
“I feel very privileged to have worked with Jacqui on creating On Labs Tokyo - the biggest and most successful brand activation in Japan to date. Jacqui truly elevated the project with her creative leadership, shaping a unifying narrative that branched into several carefully crafted sub-layers. As a visionary she inspired everyone around her. Guiding the creatives working alongside her, and instilling trust and confidence to the clients.
Yet she always approached the process with a human-first mindset, ensuring that creativity wasn’t just striking, but also resonant and inclusive. Her sensibility for cultural nuance added a distinct richness to the event, making it feel both globally relevant and locally meaningful. Working alongside Jacqui was energising and rewarding, and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a creative leader who can shape vision into impact.”
Felix Spuhler, On. Senior Spatial Designer
“I knew from day one that Jacqui was somebody who would improve our team and add so much value to our brand. A joy to be in the same room as, Jacqui always brings incredible energy, expertise and personality whilst forever being humble. Professionally and creatively, Jacqui made a huge impact which was equalled, if not surpassed by the impact she made on a personal level. Jacqui will most certainly be missed but we will remain grateful for our time with her.”
Ricky Partner. Aesop. Global Head of Creative Services & Marketing Operations
“Jacqui was a resilient and inspiring creative leader in global campaign for social good. Once she brought me the idea looking for collaboration, I immediately saw the potential of the project - bold in its message, innovative in the use of technology, important for the world yet super complex. Seeing Jacqui navigating in its complexities with ease, positive energy, agility and flexibility was very inspiring. She accommodated feedback of multiple stakeholders, understood each team’s perspective and always provided an alternative smart creative solution when faced with resistance. Her communication was actionable and crystal clear during the process and her eye for craft is something rare to find.”
Manu Gambagorte. Meta. Global Strategy Lead.

“Jacqui is a wonderful leader and was an invaluable mentor figure as I progressed in my career from Designer to Art Director. Jacqui was the Senior Art Director on a product campaign we worked on together at Aesop. While leading the campaign through creative development to production, she provided encouragement, gentle guidance, and opportunities that helped me grow and learn at each stage of the process. She was also incredibly generous with sharing the knowledge she had gained over the course of her career. Jacqui is an excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills. Her energy, warmth and optimism make her a joy to collaborate with, and she was a true asset to the team during her time working with us.”
Francesca Davoren-Britton, Aesop Art Director.
